We are a full-service Dermatology practice, focusing on medical and surgical care of the skin, as well as laser and esthetic enhancements. For Dermatology patients, Dr. Haberman offers:

Our staff also provides consultation and treatment for Age Management, helping skin look more even, vibrant, and youthful.

The following treatment options may be recommended by your physician:

Acne Laser/Light Treatment (Smoothbeam, ClearLight™, CoolTouch®, PDT)
  • For treatment of active acne, acne scarring, oily skin, and sebaceous hyperplasia.
  • Shrinks oil producing glands of the skin to treat acne and reduce bacterial production.
  • Stimulates collagen production to diminish the appearance of scarring.
  • Requires multiple treatments.
BOTOX® Injections
  • For Improvement of frown lines, crow's feet, neck laxity.
  • A minute amount of BOTOX® is injected, relaxing the muscles that causes wrinkles.
  • Repeat treatments are required.
  • One must remain upright for three hours and exercise muscles following injection.
Chemical Peel
  • Gently removes the top layer of dead skin cells.
  • Improves skin texture and color.
Fat Transfer
  • For age-related changes (loss of fat and skin laxity) on forehead, temples, cheeks, jaw, chin.
  • The face and lateral thighs are anesthetized using injected lidocaine for anesthesia.
  • Fat is harvested from the lateral thighs (using a syringe and injected into the face during the initial treatment session, returning the full youthful appearance to treated sites.
  • Fat not used during the initial session is frozen and maintained for up to two years. This fat is used for touch-up treatments performed every six to eight weeks during the first year and then as needed.
Filler Substances (Restylane®, Collagen, Cosmoderm®, Cosmoplast®, Perlane®, Hylaform®, Sculptra®, Radience®, Fascian®)
  • For scars, marionette lines, laugh lines, fine wrinkling, lips.
  • Products are injected directly into skin causing diminution of wrinkles/scars.
  • Repeat treatments are required.
Foto Facial Rejuvenation (IPL)
  • Vascular and pigmented lesions.
  • Rosacea and Spider Veins (Face and Legs).
  • Sun Spots, Age Spots, Freckles.
  • Hyperpigmentation and Seborrheic Keratoses.
  • Port Wine Stains.
  • Cafe au Lait Macules (Birthmarks).
  • This non-invasive treatment uses light emitting diodes to stimulate collagen production in the skin. This leads to smoother and softer skin.
  • There is no pain, redness or wounding from the procedure.
  • The best results are seen with twice weekly treatment.
Laser Hair Removal (GentleLase®, CoolGlide®, LightSheer®, Aurora™, IPL)
  • For unwanted body or facial hair.
  • Light hair is treated with the Aurora laser every two weeks.
  • Dark hair is treated with the Coolglide or Gentlelase lasers approximately every six weeks.
  • Usually requires multiple treatments for desired results.
  • An anesthetic cream may be applied one hour prior to treatment to reduce discomfort.
Laser Resurfacing (CO2 and erbium lasers)
  • For sun damage, fine lines, mottled pigmentation, scarring.
  • Lasers remove upper portions of skin layer by layer in a precisely controlled manner, effectively rejuvenating and tightening skin.
  • Patients generally pre-treat the face with topical creams for two weeks prior to the procedure.
  • Recovery period can range for 5-10 days.
  • Patients are red for a few months following treatment, but this can be covered effectively with makeup.
Laser Toning (CoolTouch® & Nd: Yag lasers)
  • For acne scars, age-related skin changes, fine wrinkles, irregular skin texture.
  • These lasers are used in tandem, stimulating collagen production at different depths in the skin, ultimately giving it a healthier glow and smoother texture.
  • Often takes two months to appreciate results, improvement may continue for up to a year following last treatment.
  • Treatments are typically performed monthly.
  • Treated areas can be mildly swollen and red for a few hours.
  • Is often used in conjunction with Gentle Waves® light treatment.
Leg Vein Treatment (Lasers, Sclerotherapy)
  • Form small superficial blood vessels on the legs.
  • A small amount of sclerosing solution is injected into the affected vein, causing the vessel walls to collapse and ultimately go away.
  • Results often seen approximately four weeks following treatment.
  • Often requires multiple treatments for desired results.
  • Lasers may be used if indicated for certain types of leg veins.
Medical Microdermabrasion
  • Gently removes the top layer of dead skin cells.
  • Improves skin texture.
  • Stimulates production of young skin cells and collagen.
  • Non-invasive, non-surgical skin conditioning.
  • Remove age spots and fine lines around eyes, lips and neck.
  • Reduce appearance of acne scars.
  • Softer, smoother, younger-looking skin.
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
  • For pre-cancerous skin lesions (actinic keratoses), acne, skin rejuvenation.
  • Uses a topical anesthetic cream prior to laser treatment.
  • Requires strict sun avoidance after the procedure.
Pigmented Lesion Removal (Q-switched ruby laser, Nd:Yag laser, Alexandrite laser)
  • For Solar lentigines (sun spots), tattoos, nevus of Ots, other pigmented lesions.
  • Laser specifically target the darker region of skin being treated and clears the lesion, leaving normal surrounding skin unharmed.
  • May require multiple treatments.
Pigmented Restoration (Relume®)
  • For scars, stretch marks, vitiligo, areas of decreased pigmentation.
  • A light source is directed at the affected area, effectively increasing the pigment.
  • Painless procedure requiring no anesthesia or wounding.
  • Multiple treatments required.
Thermage® (ThermaCool, ThermaLift)
  • For skin laxity in jowls, laugh lines, forehead, marionette lines, neck, buttocks, extremities, abdomen.
  • A radio-frequency device tightens the skin via sustained heating to tissue.
  • Results may be seen as early as one month following treatment and continue to improve for up to 4 months.
Vascular Lesion Removal (V-Beam®, VersaPulse®, VascuLight™)
  • For broken or enlarged blood vessels, scars, hemangiomas, port wine stains, and other vascular lesions.
  • Multiple treatments may be required for desired results.
  • Minimal to no recovery period, unless treatment for hemangioma or congenital venous malformation.
